- Naples Yellow
- Burnt Sienna
- Ultramarine Blue
- Raw Sienna

- Alizarin or Quinacradone Rose
- Payne's Gray
- 1” flat WATERCOLOR brush - no bristle brushes
- #8 or #10 round WATERCOLOR brush - no bristle brushes
- 1 watercolor pad - 11” x 15” Strathmore
- 2 “2B” drawing pencils
- 1 pink or green eraser or soft white art eraser - no art gum
- 1 spiral sketchbook: 6 x 9, or 8 x 10
If you are a Ghost Ranch student, Pomona can assemble the above sets for you at a cost of $75.00.

at least 3 weeks prior to your class and she will have a set ready for you when you arrive.
She will also have supplemental items available for optional purchase while you are at Ghost Ranch.
Other items to bring:
- Palette with 10 wells and a lid for mixing colors
- Ruler
- Natural Sponge
- Soft rag and / or paper towels
- A few photos or sketches in case of rain
- 1 4” x 6” matt (to use as a viewfinder)
- Small folding stool
- For Ghost Ranch students: VERY NECESSARY -- SUNSCREEN & A SUN HAT
- You may borrow from GR: Water buckets, hole punch, salt, art books & magazines
Nice to have: Field sketch box, available at hobby shops & art supply stores (price range from $20 - $80)
